SIPERNAT® 120

BET-surface area of approx. 125 m2/g.
This hydrophilic silica permits a fast compounding owing to the relatively small surface area, high tapped density, and relatively big particle size. Because of its structure designed for good reinforcing effects, it gives high mechanical strength despite of the relatively small surface area. Owing to the relatively small surface area, the "crepe-hardening" is minimized in HTV Silicone Rubber and a stable viscosity and good shelf life can be achieved in liquid systems.
Recommended for: HTV, LSR and RTV-2C.

SIPERNAT® 160

BET-surface area of approx. 165 m2/g.
This hydrophilic silica has an extremely high purity and shows a very low moisture absorption. It brings superior electrical properties to Silicone Rubber products. This silica also has excellent reinforcing effects especially enhancing the tear resistance. This product is particularly recommended for LSR and HTV Silicone Rubber that require high mechanical strength and good electrical insulation.
Recommended for: HTV and LSR.

SIPERNAT® 218

BET-surface area of approx. 160 m2/g.
This hydrophilic silica is especially designed for applications that require medium transparency and controlled yellowish discoloration. Fast compounding and low compression set properties will be achieved because of specific precipitation process.
Recommended for: HTV, LSR and RTV-2C.

SIPERNAT® 236*

BET-surface area of approx. 180 m2/g.
This hydrophilic silica is especially designed for applications that require medium transparency and controlled yellowish discoloration. Excellent mechanical properties are obtained. Because of the specific precipitation process, this silica is suitable to achieve a semi-transparent (milky) compound appearance of HTV Silicone Rubber.
Recommended for: HTV and LSR.

SIPERNAT® 268*

BET-surface area of approx. 180 m2/g.
This hydrophilic silica is especially designed for applications that require a semi-transparent (milky) compound appearance in combination with a very low yellowish discoloration of the cured HTV Silicone Rubber. Because of the specific precipitation process, this silica is suitable to achieve excellent mechanical properties.
Recommended for: HTV and LSR.

SIPERNAT® 288*

BET-surface area of approx. 200 m2/g.
This hydrophilic silica is especially designed for applications that require a high transparency and a low yellowish discoloration. Excellent mechanical properties are also obtained. As this product also provides a good dispersion quality in liquid systems, its also suitable for RTV-2C and LSR applications that require good flow characteristics and high tear resistance values.
Recommended for: HTV, LSR and RTV-2C.

SIPERNAT® 298*

BET-surface area of approx. 210 m2/g.
This hydrophilic silica is especially designed for applications that require extremely high transparency levels and a very low yellowish discoloration. Excellent mechanical properties are also obtained and this products is highly recommended for HTV Silicone Rubber. As this product also provides a good dispersion quality in liquid systems, its also suitable for RTV-2C and LSR applications that require good flow characteristics and high tear resistance values.

SIPERNAT® 320 DS

BET-surface area of approx. 175 m2/g.
This is a finely milled hydrophilic silica especially designed for liquid systems. The structure and cohesive force are controlled for providing a good dispersion quality and low viscosity levels. This product gives thixotropy to liquid materials and it is suitable for sealant applications.
Recommended for: LSR and RTV-2C.


SIPERNAT® D 17

BET-surface area of approx. 100 m2/g.
This hydrophobic silica product can be incorporated quickly into the base polymer of HTV Silicone Rubber compounds without applying any processing agent. It can also be applied directly to liquid systems. The level of hydrophobicity is controlled to give good reinforcing effects.
Recommended for: HTV, LSR and RTV-2C.
